Inflation is easing in the construction industry, with supply chains improving and freight rates declining, helping to lower construction input costs, an economist says in a report. However, input costs in June were up 38% compared with the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, although they were down 4.9% compared with June 2022, according to the report.
